I know, i know.. it's the 4th day of CNY and i'm only free now to blog :P

I'd like to wish everyone who celebrate CNY 'Gong Xi Fa Cai!!'

I had a good family reunion dinner and on the 1st day, i went out collecting red packets @ ang pow

My office is close for 5 days and including the weekends, i'm off for 9 days!! wheeee~ but i now have only 3 more days to laze at home :(

Anyway it's okay.. will have more holidays coming soon in Feb! :D

Hello everyone! well, this will be my 1st post of the new year, 2012 :)

So, how's the new year been treating you all? how was your new year's eve celebration?

As for me, every year i'll stay at home.. to avoid the crowd and the traffic jam.. AND my previous home, i could see all the fireworks (including the ones at klcc!) :)

But this year, 2012 i made an exception.. i went to the Red Carpet Avenue at ENCORP Strand in Kota Damansara with the Malaysia’s Hottest Bloggers‘ babes, to count down to a brand new year (if you've read my previous post).. it was my 1st time to a countdown party :P~

I drove to The Strand and was expecting traffic jam but to my surprise, there wasn't as i think i arrived pretty early ;) hence i had dinner first before the party...

To my surprise, Sarah WAS THERE! i was super duper happy as i've not seen her for the longest time ever since she went to NZ =.=

Anyway, back to the countdown party.. well, what else can i say? of course it was an awesome party..

Besides the great lineup of performers such as Mizz Nina; hip hop artiste Joe Flizzow; rock band, Pop Shuvit; indie-darling, Reza Salleh; Neo-Soul crooner, Najwa Mahiaddin; and violin virtuoso, Dennis Lau and his compatriot, world-ranked beat boxer, Shawn Lee, while Barsonic’s resident DJ, Davern Koh aka HypeEmBeats and Jee Hoe of DJ collective Melee Punks spins,

Attended the event with 3 couples and we had a good time laughing :D we were lucky to be upgraded to Gold tickets!

Does anyone know where is sitiawan? before this, i've heard of it but never went there personally.. hence one day, i made a trip to sitiawan with some friends.. actually it's more to food trip :P~

Sitiawan, Malaysia (alternate spelling: Setiawan; origin: from Malay, a portmanteau of Setia meaning "Loyal Friend") is a region in the Manjung district of Perak, Malaysia. The region covers an area of 331.5 square kilometers and as of year 2000, its population was 95,920.

YES! not many people know but there IS an underwater world in Langkawi besides the Aquaria @ KLCC.. I was in Langkawi for work last year September with my colleague..

For me, i think this underwater world is much better than Aquaria, KLCC.. why? ummmm... well coz they got PENGUINS and also some aquatic species which i've not seen before at Aquaria, KLCC!! :D

Mei Sze's birthday party?

OMG! i totally forgot to blog about Mei Sze's birthday party which i attended on 18th Nov 2011.. sorry babe, IF you're reading this :P

Her birthday was sponsored by Gecko Gastrobar, restaurant and bar which situated at the PJ Trade and also by Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve!

We were lucky to be the 1st few people to taste the food before it was launched on 10th December 2011.. there were pasta, dessert and most importantly the drinks!

Remember my previous post about the invitation i got from MHD?

Well i had a good time there, especially with my boss and colleagues.. finally i got to social with them outside of the office :)

The event started at 9pm, i arrived at The Gardens at 9pm BUT i had to wait for 30mins for parking AND it was at the jockey! =.=" everyone did their last minute of shopping and the parking was FULL

Freeflow of champagne from 9pm to 10pm AND after that my boss bought another 2 bottles of moet for us! yay! :D

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

How was your Christmas celebration? for me, i did not receive any pressie except for a small present from the exchange present session that i had with some friends over the BBQ :)

But overall i had a good Christmas, in the company of friends on the eve of Christmas and a VERY delicious Christmas dinner at the restaurant which i've always wanted to go, Lafite @ Shangri-La, KL

It was a surprised dinner.. oh well, it wasn't that of a surprised as i know there will be a dinner BUT the venue of the dinner was kept secret by a very tight lip person

Anyway, it was my 1st time trying foie gras, caviar and Dom Pérignon.. it would be my 1st and last time eating foie gras for sure as although it's expensive, i don't really like the taste of it :P so yea, no more foie gras for me, you can save the money ;)

How many of you do not know who is Tiësto? well i'm sure ALMOST everyone knows who he is.. but for those who doesn't here's a short info about him

Tijs Michiel Verwest, is a Dutch musician, DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his work as DJ Tiësto. On his latest productions, however, he has dropped the "DJ" label and is now known simply as "Tiësto", an alias which is a twist of his childhood nickname.

In 1997, he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the Magik and In Search of Sunrise CD series. Tiësto met producer Dennis Waakop Reijers in 1998, and the two have worked together extensively since then. Reijers is credited as producer, writer, composer, or arranger on many of Tiësto's releases. Then, in 1999 and 2000 he collaborated with Ferry Corsten to create Gouryella. His 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan exposed him to more mainstream audiences. In 2001, he released his first solo album In My Memory which gave him several major hits that launched his career. He was named "World’s No.1 DJ" 3 consecutive times by DJ Magazine from 2002 through 2004.

Just after releasing his second studio album Just Be in 2004 at the Summer Olympics, he performed live at the opening ceremony in Athens, Greece, becoming the first DJ to play live on stage at an Olympics. Tracks he made especially for the Olympics were mixed together and released as the mix compilation Parade of the Athletes later that year. In April 2007 Tiësto launched both his radio show Tiësto's Club Life on Radio 538 in the Netherlands and released his third studio album Elements of Life. I missed seeing him perform live many times and this year, he came back to Malaysia again! it was at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) and i bought tickets online straightaway as soon as i know he'll be performing here.. i got the early bird tickets hence i paid less than rm100 :D

Anyway, it was my 1st rave and i was being told that there will be alot of people, pushing, shoving, sweating and etc.. i went prepared.. with tank top, shorts, flats, Identity Card (IC) and my mobile only.. i am amazed that some girls would wear dress, stilettos and heavy make up..

I reached SIC at 10.30pm and i got stuck in a jam going INTO SIC, parking wasn't really a problem as there's ample space plus the helipad was open as well for us to park..

What was the problem were, there was only 1 (ONE) booth to buy tickets and 1 (ONE) booth to do online ticket redemption.. i was like WTF! the event company didn't know how many tickets were sold online? if they didn't check, at least do estimation.. hello, it's Tiësto and you expect 100 people to turn up? for Hennessy Artistry we had like 10 counters and it was for 4,000 people =.=

Anyhow, after pushing and shoving to get tickets we had to go through security check.. get the bags and body check as well.. there were like less than 20 check points and it was separated to 'MALES' and 'FEMALES' BUT some idiot MALES went to the FEMALE's counter hence they were hogging the female's queue and later, they were shoo-ed away.. idiots @!$%^&

Overall the event was okay, i heard that over 10,000 people showed up.. but i went back at 1am as my feet hurts! :P

MHD is an acronym to Moet Hennessy Diageo.. and they are most well known premium brands such as Hennessy cognac, Moet Chandon champagne, Dom Perignon, Johnnie Walker scotch whiskies, Gordon’s Gin, Smirnoff vodka, Bailey’s Irish Cream as well as a wide range of quality wines from traditional and New World countries..

Like i mentioned previously, i got paid to party in Penang and Opera, Sunway Pyramid early this year in May.. i had a blast! :D

There i got to know Sukie Ng, Advertising and PR Manager of MHD.. we partied together and then few weeks back we met again at Zouk, KL.. me, my colleagues and my boss were partying away with freeflow of Moet Chandon champagne and Hennessy cognac.. as we were celebrating the success of Hennessy Artistry!

Anyway, i got a Christmas invitation by Sukie via fb.. it's an invite only event which will happen at Bianco, Vertigo The Gardens on 23rd Dec 2011.. freeflow of Moet til 10pm! wheee~

There's only about 50-ish invitees only and when i saw the list, i was like.. OMG! the list has names like Raj Aria, Josiah Mizukami, Sonny San, Stephanie Chai, Daphne Iking, Nadia Heng, Wincci Soo, Dennis Lau and etc..

Can't wait for the day to come!

As all of you know, i'm a car lover myself.. i only love a few cars up to date and it so happens that it's ALL Japanese! :-

1) Nissan Skyline R34
2) Nissan GTR-35
3) Nissan Fairlady Z
4) Subaru Impreza WRX

My 1st love would always be the one and only Nissan Skyline R34.. i still remember when i first saw and heard the R34.. it sounded AMAZING.. it was my mum's neighbour friend who drove it..

Then i was lucky enough to meet and to drive 'JHM 35'.. it's a MONSTER car to me.. had so much memories of it and i intend to keep it with me forever.. it's NOT just a car, okay? =.=

After installing a Tomei 2.8 kit, HKS Turbos, Tein Absorbers and a Nismo manifold :-

Then again i was lucky that 'someone' got me my dream car.. and yes, i am STILL driving it

Okay, besides the R34 i love the Subaru Impreza WRX as well.. why? isn't it obvious? the boxer engine @ flat engine sound!

Almost a year ago, i met a Subaru Impreza WRX.. love love love the car but it would be better IF it's single scroll with blitz exhaust! ;) haha..

Hopefully the owner won't sell the car off so soon! ~

Hmmm.. now i wonder.. when will i be able to meet my other 'love'? maybe in another 2 years?

I gotta start saving the money and work hard for it! :D

It seems like many people, especially girls would look down on other 'plain jane'.. why? i grew up being an ugly duckling.. oh well.. not saying that i grew up and changed into a swan.. i just like to consider myself being a plain jane..

tom ford?

Does anyone know who is Tom Ford? probably he's not well-known to most of you..

Anyway, he's an American fashion designer and film director.. he gained international fame for his turnaround of the Gucci fashion house and the creation of the Tom Ford label..

From 1994 - 2004, Tom Ford was the creative director for Gucci and YSL.. he brought Gucci out from almost being bankrupt and when he left in 2004, Gucci Group was valued at $10billion..

In April 2005, Ford announced the creation of the TOM FORD brand.. in that same year, Ford announced his partnership with Marcolin Group to produce and distribute optical frames and sunglasses as well as an alliance with Esteé Lauder to create the TOM FORD Beauty brand..

I was at Bangsar the other day do to some window shopping at the boutiques.. BUT i ended up shopping instead =.="

I was at Reliance Optical, looking at the sunnies.. there was a guy SA who kept bugging me to try on the glasses.. i pity him as he was really trying SO HARD to be helpful, hence i gave in and tried on a couple of glasses.. and oh boy, the glasses he chose for me.. it's either TOO big for my face or it's in purple color frame or green color and so forth..

I really wanted to just walked out as the guy didn't GIVE UP! indirectly he was chasing potential customers away..

My friend asked me to just sit down and other people will come to serve me.. true enough, i was presented with a few glasses to try on.. and within 10 mins, i found the perfect glasses.. i just bought it straightaway after negotiating the price! :D

I am truly happy with the service and price.. the girl SA suggested that i shouldn't wear a black frame glasses as it doesn't goes well with my hair color.. she knew i wanted Tom Ford hence she gave me this model which i fell in love with..

It seems like everyone is a blogger nowadays.. it's super easy to own a blog, just register yourself on blogger and VOILA! you're a blogger..

There are many types of bloggers out there.. some they just upload photos, some do vlog.. i started my blog way back in 2006 on blogger but earlier on i was blogging on friendster..

Anyway, i am NOT famous at all compare to some bloggers out there.. i just blog for fun, not for money or fame.. but of course if i do get extra income out of it, it'd be nice :D hehe.. honestly, i did get upset with some nasty comments and also when no one commented on my blog, buuuuut i'm over it ;)

I just had a conversation with a fellow blogger and he told me that there's too many unknown bloggers around.. and some, they really spoiled the reputation of a blogger.. Eg; some blogger just take advantages of being a blogger, they think that they have exclusivity.. that they can ask for free food, getting VIP invites to events or get sponsored..

I mean, it would be great IF some company or people approached you for sponsorship or invite you for an exclusive event BUT NOT the other way round where you go out and ask/beg for it.. and please don't think you could be a diva just coz you're a blogger =.="

Remember my previous post which i blogged about the 'Kings and Queen' comedy? Remember how excited i was to know that it's happening again this year? Went straight to RockCorner to purchase, not one, not two BUT 6 tickets which was rm128 each..

Now Groupon is selling the rm128 tickets for... rm78!! WTF right? me and my friends feel so cheated..

Should we boycott their event next year?

*remark: due to the quick response to my complaint email, i will attend the NEXT 'Kings & Queen'! :) hopefully they will bring back Kumar? :p

I ABSOLUTELY adore her and she inspired me alot..

My KLIA supervisor surprised me today by sending me a picture of Kimora while she's in the aerotrain.. i WISHED i was in KLIA today!! T_T

It’s the time of the year again. YES! For the BIGGEST Hennessy event.. the last time I attended the Hennessy Artistry as a blogger BUT this time, I’m attending the Hennessy HALO as an employee T_T

Anyway, as a blogger I had so many perks! I was being flown to Penang with a bunch of bloggers via MAS, stayed at a hotel suite, massages, partied 2 nights in a row, flew back to KL, stayed at Sunway hotel and attended the HA at Opera.. read back my previous post, here, here and here :)

I'm not too sure how many of you had came across The Met, but i was being told of this hair salon by my girl friend, Mei Sze.. she has been doing her hair there since she was in school, IF i'm not mistaken..

Anyway, Mei Sze is a doll.. she got us, MHB free hair cut + color BUT it was only for the weekdays :( so i had no choice but go during the weekends as i've to work weekdays.. i thought i had to pay full price for it BUT again, Mei Sze got us (whoever who can't make it on weekdays) a deal.. 50% off for haircut and 15% off for chemical services! yippie!

I know that i've not changed my bob hairstyle for a long time.. well, i think the hairstyle stuits me hence i decided to keep it.. my stylist did a brilliant job at cutting the bob and to make sure that everytime i wake up from my sleep, my hair will be perfectly in order.. no messy hair.. all i need to do after i wash my hair is to blow it dry and FYI, i've not comb my hair ever since i got my hair cut.. talk about minimal maintenance :P

Teng, the professional hair colorist did a superb job.. she bleached my hair for highlights and dyed my hair.. ash brown!

As some of you might remember that i attended the Kings and Queen of Comedy Asia last year october, 29th, well it's happening AGAIN this year!

busy as a bee?

Ever since i've started this new job, i've been as busy as a bee.. no kidding..

This is my job title now

On my 3rd day of work, i had to go outstation.. went to KK and Kuching with my colleague to do setup at the airports.. then few days later, i had to attend meeting.. as for tomorrow i have another meetign to attend at 3.30pm and another one on thursday at 10am..

Every day after work at about 7pm, all i want to do is to take a shower, catch up with a few episodes of the HK chinese series and by 10.30pm or 11pm, i'll hit the bed.. THAT's my routine for now.. sigh~

And i'll be looking forward to every weekends.. that's the only time when i can have my quality time to myself and friends

Okies, i gotta go now.. lunch time is over.. TATA!

new job?

YES! finally i got myself a job which pays me monthly.. started work on monday, 4th july.. the office isn't as far as my previous one BUT the jam going back home.. sigh~ is as bad..

Anyway, i'm working now with Spiral Integrated.. the company which handles the Hennessy Artistry.. although i'm not handling the account but i can get staff access! :D

My workspace now is pretty bare.. can't wait to decorate it.. hmmmm... what should i put? a digital photo frame? but whose pictures, besides my boboie? *thinking*

Ever since i started this job, i've been sleeping quite early.. latest by 11pm.. yes, seriously! not kidding.. by the time i finish work, caught in the jam for 1 hour.. i'll be too tired to even eat dinner.. but i still do.. not rice, mostly noodles..

I can't wait for weekends now.. to spend time at home, putting my legs up and watch tv the whole day :P

japan GT?

The first/last time i went to the Japan GT was in 2008.. i took part in the Japan GT cars lookalike contest.. i still wonder how the hell my car was in the finalist category.. haha..

Anyway, this year i went again for the tan! haha... well, actually my friend's were going.. hence i joined in the fun.. it was super hot that day and i got my tan back!

I went with the subaru group this time.. they had a convoy of like 30 cars together with the Evo cars and there was police escort! it was awesome! ok ok, it wasn't my 1st time being escorted by the police.. but still....

maturing?

While i am sitting down here in front of my computer enjoying a packet of nasi lemak, i was browsing through my photos on faceBook.. oh gosh, time flies and i just realized i've been on fb since 24th oct 2007.. it has been more than 3 freaking years!

Anyway, i saw the difference in me on the photos as time went by.. i look much more older, hair gotten shorter and i make up! hahaha..

I used to pay minimum attention of how i look.. coz my ex told me he loved me the way i was.. dressed down, natural with no make up.. in fact he fell in love with me when i was in my shorts and slipper..

I looked like this when i was with my ex :-

Looking back at those photos, brings back memories.. i was once young with no make up.. but now as i grow older, at least i'll put on my eyeliner and blusher when i go out.. does that mean i'm trying to hide the fact that i'm getting old? not exactly.. in fact, i think i look a little better as i grow older ;)

As most people would say, as you grow up you tend to change.. mentally and physically.. coz as you get older, you'll gain some hardship, good and bad experiences, break ups, new friendships and etc along the way..

The other day while i was talking to 1 of my friends, he said 'why am i teaching you the fundamental basics of a relationship? you're supposed to know all these as you've been through so much'

Yes, i may have dated before and even got into a couple of serious relationships, but none of them actually pointed out to my flaws.. teach me or guide me towards a healthy relationship.. i NEVER knew what was my problem.. what i did wrong.. what do i have to change and compromise to make the relationship works..

For them, they just walked away when they no longer could see themselves committing in the relationship.. do they really think that i could figure out myself what was the problem while they just keep quiet? i do admit that i was VERY stubborn.. but that doesn't mean they can't knock some sense into my head.. no one likes someone to point out their flaws, they can't accept it.. same goes to me.. you tend to get angry and defensive..

Someone tried to point out my flaws and my mistakes after i got out from my failed relationship.. at first i was angry but slowly, it made sense to me.. i tend to see things from another perspective.. which was why i apologized to him, my ex..

It takes time for someone to mature and i guess i'm doing quite well at it.. what do you think?

the hill, new revamped menu?

Yes, the Hill at damansara heights had revamped their menu.. there are new items popping up on their new menu and the MHB had a chance to try out their food once again!

The last time i was at the Hill was for a bloggers gathering with mimi.. so this time was my 2nd time.. to be honest, the Hill has an excellent ambiance for a chill out night with your friends.. the 1st floor is an open air dining area while the 2nd and 3rd floor are air conditioned..

Review : i swear i could just finish this by myself! the crab was so well fried, so crunchy and the wafu dressing goes superb with the salad

Chili clams in venetian style chili wine broth, zucchini & tomatoes served with toasted baguette - rm28

Review : i am a clam/vongole lover.. these clams were so fresh, the broth is a little spicy and... *speechless* i could eat this all by myself too!

Nachos - rm25

Review : due to my religion, i can't eat beef.. but what the heck! i tried some and it's really yummy

Deep fried salted egg calamari served with salsa sauce - rm14

Review : this was so delicious that i only had 1 piece! everyone wanted a piece of it!

Review : you can't walk-in and order this as you gotta make reservation for it earlier

Aglio olio jumbo prawns tossed in extra virgin olive oil and chili flakes - rm48

Review : honestly, this was one of the best aglio olio i've tried.. the pasta was al dente, the sauce was just nice, a little spicy

Now, the desserts.. i'm NOT a dessert person BUT these desserts did make me crave for more!!

Chocolate brownie with chocolate fudge and a scoop of vanilla ice cream - rm13

Cheese cake with cherry brandy - rm13

Review : the cheese cake was so cheesy, creamy and smooth.. excellent! it's cake of the day so if you come on that lucky day, you might want to order this

Pavlova - rm13

'Pavlova is made by beating egg whites (and sometimes salt) to a very stiff consistency before folding in caster sugar, white vinegar, cornstarch, and sometimes vanilla essence, and slow-baking the mixture, similarly to meringue'

Review : dessert of the day.. the crust just melted in my mouth.. sweeeeeeeeeeeeet~ i could really finish this piece alone BUT as i took 2 bite of it, i felt guilty.. it was so utterly sinful AND i can't resist it!

It has been 5 months since i moved out.. my feelings for that certain someone is slowly fading away.. it's not easy to just leave the memories behind.. as i was 'cleaning' up my laptop, i came across a lot of pictures of me and him.. the e-b'day card me made me, the e-summary of our 1 month anniversary.. the promises that he made to me (the holidays, sunset, sun rise, starting a family, me and him together forever).... sigh ~

I know that i've to move on.. and i've been doing that ever since i moved out.. it was tough at first but with the support from my family and friends, it made me realize that... hey, i can do this..

My friends would say that it's his fault.. but actually, i have to be responsible too.. so when he called me few weeks back, i apologized to him.. i said i'm sorry that i've changed, sorry for being selfish in a way, not understanding him and wasn't on the same wavelength as he was.. i don't know if he did realize that partially it was his fault too but i don't care anymore.. i've let down my pride to actually apologize and made my peace..

Okay, apart of that i'm moving on now... i am slowly getting myself connected back to the society.. it was tough but thanks to tim, who offered me to be one of the MHBs.. i get to meet people, attending events and knowing a bunch of pretty sweet MHBs too..

I am s l o w l y picking up back the bits and pieces of my life again and it has been doing good so far :)

The Hennessy Artistry Ultimate Experience - part 3

The Hennessy Artistry was held at Opera, Sunway.. besides VooDoo, penang.. so we, the bloggers were flown back from penang to kuala lumpur to attend this huge event.. we all checked-in to the Hotel Pyramid Tower which is just next to sunway pyramid..

We got back to kl late afternoon and we had like an hour to get ready.. but as usual, the girls would be the first few ones to have gotten ready first before the guys =.="

Like i said on my previous post, we continued our journey of party the next day.. we went to MOIS after our yummy satisfying dinner at Chin's, just next to QE II which is situated at Church Street Pier on the waterfront..

The Hennessy Artistry Ultimate Experience - part 1

I've always heard about people/friends raving to me about Hennessy Artistry.. so when i got an email from helenness asking who wants to go on a 4D 3N all paid expenses for the Hennessy Artistry Ultimate Experience, i think i was the 1st one to reply her.. then the next day, i got an email from her that i've been chosen! YIPPIE!! i've NEVER EVER won/chosen for ANYTHING and i was SUPER DUPER happy!

I didn't tell my mum or my colleagues where i was heading.. nope.. heheh.. but i did tweet about it ;)

So, i packed my luggage and head to KLIA (yes, we flew via MAS) on 28th april.. my flight was at 1.55pm..

Here's the MH1148 which flew us from KLIA to Penang

I was REALLY excited as it was my first time EVER to travel alone! :D the flight was a short one.. less than an hour.. as we landed in Penang and got off the plane, we hopped on to a bus.. yes, a BUS! we got a bus to shuttled us around Penang town and to clubs.. wasn't THAT nice~

outdoor-sy type of person?

I had a little chat with my ex, russell not too long ago.. we were sorting things out.. he told me that we got alot of differences..

Well for example, he said i'm not a very outdoor kind of person.. hmmm.. i beg to differ..

Coz actually before i met him, me and my other ex.. we did things.. like going for waterfall, picnics, took strolls with my uncle's dog, taught me how to swim, went for walks along the beach, went to port dickson, starlight cinema (watching movie under the stars) and etc..

For me, i love getting myself tanned.. not sure why but i think it looks healthy.. so yes, i don't go for whitening products.. pfffft..

So when i was in tioman, instead of putting sun block, i sprayed on some tanning oil! haha.. but now sadly my tan has gone :'(

Anyway, yes.. i love the outdoor.. i think it will be great to play beach volleyball, banana boat ride, flying fox, water slide on the grass, rolling downhill in a 'hamster' ball, snorkeling, horse riding, fly kite (yes, i've NEVER flown a kite before) and etc..

I mean, i didn't have a chance to do all this with anyone before.. ask my girl friends? they will be too scared to go under the sun =.= of course i won't want to see them going horse riding with a hand holding an umbrella! >.<

How could he ruled out that i'm not interested in outdoor activities? no one ever tried to ask me out or suggest anything..

Sigh~ all they do is just making assumptions that i'm a boring indoor couch potato type of person and whenever i travel, i MUST stay in a 4 star hotel..

Is that even fair to me?

I have news to share to you, my fellow readers.. well, i am on an ALL PAID 4D3N Hennessy Artistry Ultimate Experience! wohoooo! :D

At first when i saw this, i thought to myself.. i am NOT going to miss this party again..

I registered myself so that i could get some passes for the 30th april which will be held in The Opera, Sunway.. but then i saw an email from helenness chong, saying that there were open slots for us, the bloggers to have the once in a lifetime 4D3N Hennessy Artistry Experience which is.. well... ALL PAID!

I couldn't resist it so i sent in my details and had my fingers crossed, hoping that i'd get selected.. and the next day, i got an email saying that i'm one of the selected bloggers!! YIPPIE!!

Now i just gotta pack my bags and wait for my flight, which is.... tomorrow afternoon!

On the eveningt of 13th april, i was one of the many many many people who attended the Kronenbourg 1664 French Fashion Soiree at pavilion..

A little info about the main official sponsor for this event

When we arrived there, we saw the Pavilion Centre Court was beautifully transformed into a quaint Parisian street with the magnificent Eiffel Tower in the background

We walked down the red carpeted stairs and was served with cold Kronenbourg 1664 by these pretty girls who were dressed in their French inspired outfits

While we were waiting for the show to start, we took some pictures

Among the guests for the evening were members of the media, invited guests of Kronenbourg 1664, bloggers as well as the lucky winners from Facebook and Clive..

The fashion show started off after most of the guests had arrived..

Before we called it a night, the Best Dressed man and lady was announced..

It's none other than Stephanie Chua who wore an elegant and stylish 1 piece black jumpsuit who won the Best Dressed lady

Mr Kee Hua Chee, who is a renowned fashion and lifestyle journalist

After the show, we had an opportunity to take pictures with.. none other than Amber Chia

Amber personally invited us, the MHB to attend her academy graduation night in may..

Before we left, we went to check out the three outlets.. we were given 20% discount and i got myself a little something from Thierry Mugler ;)

a tioman trip?

It has been awhile since i had a holiday.. although it was just 3D 2N, it's enough for me to have some fun!

Me and my friends left KL early on 2nd april.. it was a 4 hours drive and less than 2 hours of ferry ride to tioman.. by the time we got there, it was lunch time and the divers were back from their dive :D

We all had lunch together and then all of them went for another dive.. so i went back to the chalet to catch up on my sleeeeep.. hehe~

This is where we stayed :-

And this was my 'best friend' throughout the trip

I slept for at least an hour and woke up fresh.. then it's time for photo snapping! :D

The next day, i went out to the sea with the divers.. while they went scuba diving, i was snorkeling

It was hard to say bye bye to the beautiful beach, breeze, sea and.... fishes! but we all had to come back home *sigh*

Finally our ferry came.. bye bye T_T

30 already?

Last friday was my 30th birthday.. like i said, it couldn't be more meaningful to me.. starting my 30s life full with new hopes and dreams..

Well, i didn't get drunk on that day.. nopeeeee... instead i got together a few friends and we had an awesome romantic dinner at Nerofico, damansara heights ;)

The ambience was superb.. the live jazz band was good.. but no matter what, i think the company plays a HUGE role instead..

I booked a private room and we had ALL the privacy that we wanted.. there's a HUGE ass projector, sound system and you can play your songs in there.. the room can accommodate up to 32 pax

Anyway, back to my birthday night.. Nerofico had done a good job in decorating the room.. with low light, rose petals on the tables and floor, and the soft latin music playing at the background.. well, you could say that it was the most romantic dinner that i ever had! :) the setting was P-E-R-F-E-C-T

I invited 15 people but at the end, only 11 showed up.. nevertheless, i had a great time.. chatting and sharing a romantic dinner with my old and new found friends :D

As i was browsing erica's blog, i came across this article that she found online

During one of our seminars, a woman asked a common question. She said, 'How do I know if I married the right person?' I noticed that there was a large man sitting next to her so I said, 'It depends. Is that your husband?' In all seriousness, she answered 'How do you know?'

Let me answer this question because the chances are good that it's weighing on your mind.

Here's the answer.

EVERY relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse/partner. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their idiosyncrasies (unconventional behavior/habit).

Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called 'falling' in love... Because it's happening TO YOU.

People in love sometimes say, 'I was swept off my feet.' Think about the imagery of that __expression.
It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something came along and happened TO YOU.

Falling in love is easy. It's a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few years of marriage, the euphoria (excitement) of love fades. It's the natural cycle of EVERY relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's

Just as there are physical laws of the universe (such as gravity), there are also laws for relationships. I know most of you, readers are wondering how am i doing.. tell you the truth, it still hurts a little bit.. but i know that i gotta move on..

It will be my 30th b'day soon.. in exactly 3 days time.. what better way to celebrate it with a few of my close friends, having dinner and to catch up.. they have been VERY supportive since they got to know about 'the news'.. i've thought of party-ing the night away as well BUT i guess i'm a little too old for that.. hahaha!

Anyway, i've said to myself that i'd not want to date again.. too much heartache.. i just want to enjoy my new found freedom, hook up with guys BUT then again.. i'm NOT that kind of girl =.=

I actually was thinking a few months back, to pop a champagne and to celebrate my singlehood.. no more headaches, no more worries, no more obligations, no more stress, no more tears and etc.. but i know deep down, i'm not that kind of person.. i won't mind going through all that IF it's worth it.. you know what i mean?

We had fun playing with the lights.. it was andy's idea of us doing the silhouette thing :D

For those who has been reading my blog through out the years, you'd know by now that i love cars.. absolutely L-♥-V-E cars! it's my passion.. well, i'm pretty sure you had read how devastated i was when the Nissan R34 was stolen..

The reason why i love cars? it's the speed and the power of the car which makes my adrenalin pumping when i'm behind the wheel.. i literally just L♥VE cars..

Okay, let's get straight to the point before i stray off from my topic.. hehe..

Don't you all wonder how these F1 drivers live? they are famous, living on a fast lane and living off lavishly.. sigh! what a life that i personally envy.. and i hope by attending this party, i'd at least be able to taste a little bit of that *wink*

Why you might ask.. why am i so excited to experience the F1 and after-race party with Johnnie Walker?

- To tell you the truth, i miss the roaring sound of the engines from the F1 cars.. most people would complain that it's too noisy and will opt for ear plugs, but for me.. noisy? *snicker* the engine sound is the best sound that i have ever heard.. it was like.. music to my ears.. ahhhh~

2nd chance?

fyi: this is a personal post which i think all of my readers would be eager to read and find out

First of all, this is NOT easy for me to even write about it.. since i can't keep 'this' as a secret anymore, i have to let the cat out of the bag.. sooner or later, you all will find out and i think it's better you hear it from me instead of taking guesses and such..

Yes, i'm single.. once again.. after 4 years.. it all happened about 8 months ago.. he told me he wanted out from this relationship through skype.. i couldn't believed it.. i was shocked, begged him for another chance, tried to change my ways but it didn't work..

He was determined about it.. he came back to kl and we had a talk about it, and then he went off to work again.. i was left alone here with a 'broken' me.. my heart was shattered, devastated, angry, lost my sense of direction, hurt, betrayed, self pity, lost my appetite to eat and i was suicidal, losing the will to live.. i thought i couldn't live without him.. to me, it was like he took a knife, stabbed it straight to my heart, twisted it and left me bleed to death..

I used to think that he's 'the one'.. i wrote my blog with pride.. and THAT pride killed me.. i got carried away.. with his love back then and the lifestyle he gave me.. to be honest, i wasn't bragging.. not in the way i saw it.. i was just so in love.. he was the love of my life..

I gave him all of me.. but i can't blame him for what happened.. when there's a failed relationship/marriage, it will always be 2 people's fault.. i just want to hate him so much for what he had put me through BUT deep down inside me, i still loved him.. i still remember all the good times we had although it was just for a short while coz after some time, i realize that things started to change.. small changes.. but coz of my love for him was overwhelming, i decided to ignore it.. plus i accepted his explanation..

I didn't tell anyone about this.. keeping it all to myself.. i was 'dying' slowly and painfully.. not even my mum or his family knows.. i put up a happy face when i was back in penang for his grandma's birthday.. i started to change the way i was living.. getting a job, socializing (getting connected back with my friends)

Recently i just moved out.. we went to the lawyer and starting to sort things out.. i won't go into details as it's P & C.. it's an agreement between the 2 of us.. i'm still working as usual, hanging out with friends and started picking up the broken pieces of me.. i'm moving on finally and i'm thankful with all the support my friends and family have been giving me..as for my heart, he has completely shattered it.. day by day, i've been trying to mend it..

I know there will be alot of criticism about me and that it's my karma.. i'm not denying it, probably it is.. BUT tell me honestly, do i REALLY deserve all this pain? what have i done? did i get anyone hurt? did i kill anyone? yes, i had my pride.. i made mistakes.. i admit that.. in a way, i'm glad that all these happened.. coz it made me realize that money doesn't buy happiness.. i was covering my pain and sadness with all that shopping i did.. but at the end, i was still unhappy.. just like how you get drunk with alcohol but at the end of the day, the problem/issue still exist..

Lastly, i've learnt my lessons.. i must admit that i made mistakes and don't you think i deserve a second chance? a chance to be a better and stronger person.. i'm sure some of you are laughing your asses off.. thinking that i deserve all this as it's my karma.. but think about it, if you are laughing me right now, don't you think you'll get your karma back too? all i'm asking is to cut me some slack and i'd really appreciate it..

Food review

This is another food review.. in fact it was my 1st food review for the year 2011 :)

Mayfair had just opened not too long ago.. so i won't blame you if you do not know where it is :P

It was served like this.. and then mei sze suggested they should serve it together with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and guess what? they ARE serving it with ice cream now! :D
